GO BEYOND THE BASICS
PADI DEEP, WRECK AND NITROX PACKAGE
Go deeper, stay longer, and learn how to explore wrecks properly.
The PADI Deep, Wreck and Nitrox package is for certified divers who want to take the next serious step after Advanced Open Water. Over three days, you build three of the most useful specialty skills for diving around Koh Tao and beyond: deeper dive planning, wreck awareness, and enriched air nitrox.
With Flow Divers, this package is not about rushing through certifications. It is about understanding what changes when dives get deeper,
longer, or more complex — and learning how to plan those dives
with more confidence.
WHY CHOOSE THIS PACKAGE?
This package is a good fit if you already enjoy diving and want to move beyond normal reef dives.
You will not just collect three course names.
You will learn how to think more clearly before and during dives where depth, gas planning, buoyancy, navigation and awareness matter more.
GO DEEPER WITH MORE CONFIDENCE
The Deep Diver part helps you understand what changes below normal recreational training depths.
You look at planning, gas use, buddy contact, narcosis awareness, buoyancy control and safety considerations at depth.
EXPLORE WRECKS PROPERLY
The Wreck Diver part teaches you how to approach wrecks with better control and respect.
You learn about wreck layout, possible hazards, responsible techniques, buoyancy, awareness, and how to enjoy wreck dives without damaging the site or disturbing marine life.
UNDERSTAND NITROX
The Enriched Air Nitrox part helps you understand how to plan dives using a gas mix with more oxygen and less nitrogen than normal air.
This can be especially useful for repetitive diving, deeper profiles within safe limits, and dive days where no-decompression time matters.
PLAN BETTER DIVES
The three specialties work together, so you start thinking more clearly about depth, gas choice, dive-site layout and conditions.
This helps future dives feel more controlled, better planned and
more enjoyable, especially when joining deeper sites,
wreck dives or multi-dive days.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
Before choosing your dates, here are the main details to plan around —

Coffee, tea, water, fruit and cookies are included during the course days.
START THE THEORY BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll help you get set up with your PADI eLearning.
This is especially helpful for this package because there is more to understand than just going diving.
You will be looking at depth, gas planning, wreck awareness, nitrox use, oxygen limits and safer decision-making.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Work through the theory at your own pace before you get to Koh Tao.
It helps the course days feel smoother and keeps more attention
on the practical dives.
WHEN YOU MEET US
We’ll review the key points with you before the dives begin.
You can ask questions, check anything unclear,
and make sure the plan feels comfortable.
HOW THE PACKAGE IS STRUCTURED
This package brings three specialties together over three days.
You start with classroom and planning, then complete four ocean dives across two dive days.
The exact dive order can change depending on boat schedule, dive sites, weather, conditions and your previous training.
DEEP DIVER
Learn how deeper dives change your planning.
You cover gas use, depth limits, buddy contact, narcosis awareness, buoyancy control and safety considerations for deeper dives.
WRECK DIVER
Learn how to approach wrecks with more awareness.
You cover wreck layout, possible hazards, responsible techniques, buoyancy, positioning, and how to explore without damaging the wreck
or disturbing marine life.
ENRICHED AIR NITROX
Learn how to plan dives with enriched air.
You cover gas analysis, oxygen exposure, no-decompression time, maximum operating depth and how nitrox can fit into repetitive dive planning.
HOW YOUR DEEP, WRECK AND NITROX PACKAGE RUNS
Three days to complete the theory, planning and four ocean dives for the PADI Deep, Wreck and Enriched Air specialties.
DAY ONE — CLASSROOM AND PLANNING
You meet at Flow Divers for the course briefing, paperwork, eLearning review and planning session.
This day is about making sure you understand the important theory
before the dive days begin.
DAY TWO — FIRST TRAINING DIVES
You meet early at Flow Divers, prepare your equipment, and complete the first two ocean dives of the package.
These dives begin putting the Deep and Wreck training into practice, with your instructor guiding the plan step by step.
DAY THREE — FINAL TRAINING DIVES
You meet early again for the remaining ocean dives and continue building on the previous day’s training.
By the end of the day, you complete the final training dives and finish the package with three PADI specialty certifications.
Please note:
the exact schedule can change depending on boat times, dive sites, weather, conditions and your course plan.
Send us your dates before booking and we’ll help confirm the best schedule for your course.
BEFORE YOU JOIN THE COURSE
This is not a beginner package. You should already be certified and comfortable enough in the water
to start working on deeper, more specific dive skills.
CERTIFICATION LEVEL
You need to be at least PADI Adventure Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or have a qualifying equivalent certification.
If you are not sure whether your current certification is enough, send us a photo of your certification card before booking.
AGE
Because this package includes Deep and Wreck training,
the minimum age is 15 years old.
This helps keep the course suitable for divers who are ready for deeper planning, and more focused underwater training.
RECENT DIVE EXPERIENCE
You should feel reasonably comfortable in the water
before starting this package.
If it has been a long time since your last dive, we may recommend a refresher or fun dive first so the course feels better and safer.
MEDICAL FORM
Every student completes a scuba medical questionnaire
before the course.
If anything needs checking, we’ll let you know whether medical clearance is needed before diving.
BRING HOME MORE THAN THE MEMORY
Your Deep, Wreck and Nitrox package is a strong step forward in your diving, and we can help you capture it properly with professional photos or video. This works especially well for specialty training because the dives are more varied,
more memorable and more advanced than a normal fun dive day.
During training dives, your instructor’s main focus is your safety, comfort and progress.
If you would like photos or video, the best option is to arrange someone dedicated
to capturing the dives properly.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR DEEP, WRECK AND NITROX PACKAGE
Helpful answers to the questions that often come up before booking this specialty package.
Do I need to be Advanced certified?
You need to be at least PADI Adventure Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or have a qualifying equivalent certification.
How long does the package take?
The usual schedule is three days.
The exact timing can change depending on boat schedule, dive sites, weather, conditions and your course plan.
How many dives are included?
The course schedule includes four ocean dives.
These dives are planned around the Deep and Wreck training, with the Nitrox theory and planning included as part of the package.
What certifications will I get?
You complete the PADI Deep Diver, PADI Wreck Diver and PADI Enriched Air Diver specialties.
How deep can I dive after the Deep Diver course?
The PADI Deep Diver specialty trains divers to plan and make recreational dives down to 40 metres.
Depth on any actual dive still depends on conditions, site suitability, your comfort and instructor planning.
What does Nitrox help with?
Enriched Air Nitrox uses a gas mix with less nitrogen than normal air.
This can help with no-decompression time and repetitive dive planning, but it also comes with oxygen limits that you need to understand and respect.
Do we penetrate wrecks during the course?
Wreck training starts with awareness, planning, mapping, buoyancy and safe techniques.
Any penetration-related training depends on the site, conditions, your comfort, instructor judgement and what is suitable within the course plan.
Can I fly after the course?
You should leave enough time between diving and flying. After multiple dives, DAN recommends at least 18 hours before flying.
What if I have not dived for a while?
If it has been a while since your last dive, we may recommend a refresher or fun dive before starting the package.
This helps you feel comfortable again before moving into deeper and more specific training dives.
Still have a question?
If you are unsure about anything before booking, send us a message with your dates and what you’d like to do. We’ll get back to you and help you choose the right next step.
