TAKE THE NEXT STEP
PADI ADVANCED, EFR AND RESCUE PACKAGE
Build confidence, improve your diving, and learn how to handle problems before they become bigger.
The PADI Advanced, EFR and Rescue package is for Open Water certified divers who want to take the next major step in their diving. You begin with Advanced Open Water, continue with Emergency First Response training, and finish with the PADI Rescue Diver course.
With Flow Divers, this package is not about rushing through certificates. It is about becoming a more capable diver, a better buddy, and someone who feels more aware before, during and after every dive.
WHAT THIS PACKAGE HELPS YOU BUILD
This package is not just about adding more certifications. Each part gives you something useful for the next step.
MORE EXPERIENCE IN THE WATER
Advanced Open Water gives you five different dives and more time underwater, so you can build confidence beyond normal reef diving.
PRACTICAL FIRST AID SKILLS
EFR gives you CPR and first aid training before Rescue, so the emergency-care side feels clear before the rescue scenarios begin.
BETTER RESCUE AWARENESS
Rescue Diver teaches you to notice stress earlier, manage yourself better, and practise helping other divers in realistic situations.
ONE CLEAR COURSE PLAN
Instead of booking each course separately, you move through Advanced, EFR and Rescue in one connected six-day package.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
Before choosing your dates, here are the main details to plan around —
duration, price, certification level, inclusions and how the three parts of the package fit together.
THE KEY DETAILS
Duration: 6 days
Course price: 28,500 THB per person
Certifications: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Emergency First Response, and PADI Rescue Diver
WHAT WE TAKE CARE OF
We’ll organise the course essentials for you: private instructor, eLearning, full scuba equipment, Advanced dives, EFR classroom training, Rescue training, diving insurance and refreshments during the course.
GET SET UP BEFORE TRAINING STARTS
This package has more theory than a simple dive course, so it is worth getting started before you arrive.
Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll help you access your eLearning for Advanced Open Water, EFR and Rescue Diver.
That way, the course days feel smoother and you can spend more time focusing on the practical training.
ELEARNING AT YOUR OWN PACE
Work through the theory before you get to Koh Tao, especially the Rescue and EFR sections.
You do not need to memorise everything, but arriving with the main ideas already covered makes the training feel much easier.
REVIEW WITH YOUR INSTRUCTOR
When you meet us, we’ll go through the important points, answer your questions, and make sure each part of the course is clear.
Then we can move into the dives, first aid practice and rescue scenarios with everyone on the same page.
HOW THE PACKAGE IS STRUCTURED
This package is split into three clear parts: Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver.
Each part builds naturally into the next.
PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER
You complete five Adventure Dives, usually including Deep, Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck and Night.
The Advanced course gives you more experience, more confidence and a better understanding of different types of diving.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE
EFR is your CPR and first aid training.
You practise how to respond to accidents and medical problems in a calm, practical way before moving into the Rescue course.
PADI RESCUE DIVER
Rescue Diver is where the course becomes more scenario-based.
You practise self-rescue, problem prevention, assisting other divers and bringing everything together in final rescue scenarios.
HOW YOUR ADVANCED, EFR AND RESCUE PACKAGE RUNS
Six days to complete Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver, with five Adventure Dives first,
then EFR training, rescue practice and final scenarios.
DAY ONE — ADVANCED DIVES
You begin your Advanced course with experience dives that build on your Open Water skills and help you settle into the package.
DAY FOUR — RESCUE PRACTICE
You move into Rescue Diver training, starting with confined-water practice and rescue skills before the open water scenarios.
DAY TWO — FINAL ADVANCED DIVES
You complete the remaining Advanced Adventure Dives and finish the first certification part of the package.
DAY FIVE — OPEN WATER RESCUE TRAINING
You take the rescue skills into open water and practise how to respond to different diver problems with your instructor.
DAY THREE — EFR TRAINING
You spend the day on Emergency First Response, covering CPR, first aid, emergency-care thinking and practical response skills.
DAY SIX — FINAL RESCUE SCENARIOS
You finish the package as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Emergency First Responder and PADI Rescue Diver.
Please note: the exact schedule can change depending on boat times, dive sites, weather, conditions and your course plan.
Send us your dates before booking and we’ll help confirm the best schedule for your course.
BEFORE YOU JOIN THE COURSE
This is not a beginner package. You should already be certified and comfortable enough in the water to start building beyond Open Water.
CERTIFICATION LEVEL
You need to be a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying equivalent certification to start this package.
Advanced Open Water and EFR are included, so the Rescue Diver requirements are built into the course plan.
AGE
This package is suitable from 12 years old.
Younger divers complete junior certifications and follow the age limits for each part of the course.
MEDICAL FORM
Every student completes a scuba medical questionnaire
before the course.
If anything needs checking, we’ll let you know whether medical clearance is needed before diving.
COURSE READINESS
You should feel reasonably comfortable in the water before starting.
This is an active six-day package with diving, first aid training, rescue practice and final scenarios.
BRING HOME MORE THAN THE MEMORY
Your Advanced, EFR and Rescue package is a big step in your diving journey,
and we can help you capture it properly with professional photos or video.
If you would like photos, video, or both, let us know before the course starts so we can check availability and plan it properly.
During training dives, your instructor’s main focus is your safety, comfort and progress.
If you would like photos or video, the best option is to arrange someone dedicated to capturing the dives properly.

What certifications will I get?
You complete the PADI Deep Diver, PADI Wreck Diver and PADI Enriched Air Diver specialties.
What does EFR mean?
EFR stands for Emergency First Response.
It is CPR and first aid training that prepares you for the Rescue Diver course and is also useful outside diving.
Is Rescue Diver difficult?
Rescue Diver is more active and more challenging than earlier courses, but it is also one of the most rewarding.
You practise realistic problems step by step with your instructor, so you are not expected to know everything from the start.

You should leave enough time between diving and flying. After multiple dives, DAN recommends at least 18 hours before flying.
