BEFORE YOUR PADI SCUBA DIVER COURSE

You do not need previous scuba experience, but there are a few simple things we check before training begins.

Age And Swimming Ability

The PADI Scuba Diver Course is open to beginners from 10 years old. You do not need to be a perfect swimmer, but you should feel comfortable in the water.

Medical Form

Before diving, every student completes a short scuba medical questionnaire. Most people can dive straight away, but some answers may require doctor’s clearance.

No Previous Experience Needed

This course is designed for beginners. We guide you through the theory, pool skills and ocean dives step by step,
so the training feels clear.

Supervised Certification

After the course, you are certified to dive to 12 metres
under direct supervision of a PADI Professional,
with the option to continue later.

YOUR FIRST DIVES, PROFESSIONALLY CAPTURED

Your ocean dives are a big part of the course. If you would like photos or video from your training dives, we can help arrange a dedicated underwater photographer or videographer, so you can focus on learning while still having something beautiful to remember.

Advanced diver swimming underwater with schooling fish in Koh Tao

Because camera use is restricted during entry-level training dives, the best option is to arrange a dedicated photographer or videographer. Your instructor can stay focused on your training, while your photos or video are handled by someone there for that purpose.
